Professional Life & Business Coaching

Susan offers powerful transformational sessions which help you to overcome obstacles and live the life you dream of, through Coaching, Counselling, Mentoring and the eradication of “Limiting Beliefs” (e.g “I will never make it”, “I am not good enough”, “Money is hard to get”). The latter is an exciting process whereby you over-ride sub-conscious programming which sabotages conscious efforts to achieve your goals and potential. Unlike the building of new neural networks through repeated affirmations (this has to do with neuro-plasticity), this process takes immediate effect during a session and your own body confirms that it has re-programmed the sub-conscious – AWESOME. Susan graduated from Rhodes University in 1983 (Psychology Honours) and obtained her basic life/business coach training certification in December 2011 followed by a Masters certification in coaching in December 2013. The Inner Life Skills “Master Coach” training certification is an Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP)  with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She completed her training in TRE (Trauma and Tension Release Exercises) and is a certified PSYCH-K practitioner (trained in eliminating limiting beliefs held within the sub-conscious “mind”). She also worked as an Energy Healing practitioner. Her ability to tune-in and find the “eye of the needle”, results in profound work which addresses root problems and enables healing to arise from a very deep level.

Testimonials

“The relationship between a colleague and myself was extremely strained.  Communicating with each other was an uphill battle. We simply were not on the same page and therefore we would never reach our goal for our organization as our vision differed vastly. After some thought I decided to send her for a few coaching sessions.  I came across Sue on the internet and after our first conversation, I realized that her strong intuition and understanding of the human nature would be exactly what was needed for the job. My colleague attended a couple of sessions and little lights started going on.  This enlightenment reflected clearly in her performance and her relationship with her staff.  Since, she has gone from strength to strength. Thank you Susan for making such a difference! It was profound.” – Yvette (Regional Manager, Bidvest Car Rental)

Colleague’s testimony: “My boss decided to send me for life coaching. I did not want to know of it and I felt that I needed no life coaching. I was told that it was a business requirement and I had to go. So, off I went to my 1st session and I met this graceful lady called Sue Haywood. I was sceptical, but it turned out that I did in fact need help and Susan helped me to realise why I was constantly so tired. Due to our sessions, I now have a healthy relationship with my staff as well as my kids and husband. I can communicate better and I learned that with self-love, everything else will fall into place. This was not an easy task and it will always remain a work in progress. I found a deeper meaning in life and I can confidently say that due to my different approach in life, I became respected by all without having to hide who I am. Thank you Sue .” – Yvette’s colleague (Bidvest Car Rental)

More reasons why coaching is so important

“A study featured in Public Personnel Management Journal reports that managers (31) that underwent a managerial training program showed an increased productivity of 22.4%. However, a second group was provided coaching following the training process and their productivity increased by 88%. Research does demonstrate that one-on-one executive coaching is of value.” – Turner, Ph.D.

“Employees at Nortel Networks estimate that coaching earned the company a 529 percent “return on investment and significant intangible benefits to the business,” according to calculations prepared by Merrill C. Anderson, a professor of clinical education at Drake University.” – Psychology Today

“The Manchester survey of 140 companies shows nine in 10 executives believe coaching to be worth their time and dollars. The average return was more than $5 for each $1 spent.” – The Denver Post

“I absolutely believe that people, unless coached, never reach their maximum capabilities.” – Bob Nardelli (CEO Home Depot)

“Coaching now is part of standard leadership development training for elite executives and talented up-and-comers at IBM, Motorola, JP Morgan, Chase, and Hewlett Packard. These companies are discretely giving their best prospects what star athletes have long had : a trusted advisor to help reach their goals.” – CNN.com

“Recent studies show business coaching and executive coaching to be the most effective means for achieving sustainable growth, change and development in the individual, group and organization.” – HR Monthly

“Sue engaged with me in a very embracing, non- judgmental, quiet and responsive way. I felt safe in her company and she had me thinking and assessing how I’m living my life.

We started off with the analogy of the Apple tree. How each apple on the tree (i.e. me being one of them !) is an individual – and collectively we all make up all the apples on the tree. The concept of being in the moment – allowing oneself to be the different apple on the tree – is both relaxing and freeing. Sue got me to look at my weaknesses and vulnerabilities and then to look at the opposites of those so that these weaknesses prove, in actual fact, to be our teachers in the end. They force us to be challenged by the opposites. We can be grateful to these “teachers”. I can return to that person that I was intended to be. In my case self-confidence and self -love has always been an issue – and in embracing these, thanking myself for these gifts and insights – I can actually teach myself to fearlessly face the challenges and weaknesses and in so doing go to self-love – finally reaching a place of integration. So I am going to be a lot kinder to myself – allow life to flow more and embrace those things I don’t like about myself. They are, after all, the greatest teachers we can have.

Thanks Sue for your love and insights in helping me to grow whole!”  – Sheila (Artist)
